Today is another day of our lives...i am at work and i was thinking about our lives, friendships and......i was thinking as teens and 20-somethings, many of us were closer to our girlfriends than to our family. they were our confidents, our advisers; the ones who knew our secrets, hit the dance floor with us Saturday nights and shared out tears when one more Rotten Schmuck turned out to be just another toad on our way to discovering a Prince !!

At last , however the prince came along, and before we knew it , we were swept up in the day to day scramble of work,life and general survival. and among the first casualties of our new reality were those friendships that were so Vital, so central to our younger selves.

Eventho lives change, friendships fade , and that's one more thing we feel guilty about. But i think women today are still doing a damn fine job, in my opinion. Maybe we don't have as much girlfriend time as we once did. but we find ways to be there when it matters.
